Girl Scout and Boy Scout Programs |
We offer programs for girls from Brownie to Senior Girl Scouts. Please schedule a program for your troop by calling the Endview scout coordinator.
Fees include all applicable craft materials. All fees are subject to change without notice.
One chaperone for every ten girls must be present. There is no fee for these chaperones.
For All Levels of Scouting:
Explore Endview Plantation $7
1 hour duration
22 max. including chaperones
This program involves a specialized tour using a “scavenger hunt” format to find
answers to questions about the history of the Endview site as well as plantation life.
Price includes an Endview Patch for the girls to take home.
For Brownies:
Sports and Games – Try It $5
1.5 hour duration
22 max. including chaperones
Learn to play Colonial and Civil War era games. A tour of the house is included.
Listening to the Past $5
1 hour duration
22 max. including chaperones
A first person guided tour of the home focusing on the life of a contraband slave
during the time of the Civil War.
For Brownies and Junior Scouts:
Stitch It Together/Yarn and Fabric Arts $10
2 hour duration
14 max. including 2 chaperones
Learn standard cross-stitch and backstitch techniques as you begin your own
sampler. A tour of the house is included.
For Junior Scouts:
Dance Patch $5
1.5 hour duration
22 max including chaperones
Learn the Waltz and the Virginia Reel using music from the Civil War era.
Folk Art $10
2 hour duration
14 maximum, including 2 chaperones
Learn the basics of the old time art of quilting. A tour of the house is included.
For Cadet and Senior Scouts:
Heritage Hunt $10
2 hour duration
22 maximum, including chaperones
