Don't Miss the Action at Historic
Endview Plantation
|
March 14-15, 2009
In May 1862, Confederate soldiers retreating to Richmond were attacked by pursuing Federal troops. With a Union victory,
Confederate supplies would fall into enemy hands, the Southern capital would fall, and the Rebel government would collapse. The
outcome hinged on the ability of these soldiers to stall the Federal advance at the sleepy town of Williamsburg, Virginia’s old
colonial capital.
Today, nearly 150 years later, come see the battle recreated at historic Endview Plantation, only a few
miles from the original battle site.
