150th Anniversary Commemoration of the Peninsula Campaign:

April 21-22, 2012

April 21-22, 2012

Join us as we commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Peninsula Campaign

In the spring of 1862, Gen. George B. McClellan's 120,000 man Army of the Potomac set sail down the Chesapeake Bay to find a new route to take Richmond. Instead, McClellan was stopped by Gen. John Magruder's 13,000 man Army of the Peninsula as Confederates under Gen. Joseph Johnston began to arrive. See the sights and sounds of a Civil War battle as hundreds of reenactors converge on Endview to recreate battles fought 150 years ago during the Peninsula Campaign. See talks, demonstrations, battles and camp life. Open 10-4 each day. Admission: $7 per person/ Under 7 free. House tours at a reduced price.
