In April of 1862, General Joseph Johnston's Confederate Army began to arrive in the trenches near Yorktown to bolster the vastly outnumbered forces of General John Magruder. These soldiers were to face General George McClellan's massive Union Army of the Potomac. Many of these soldiers such as the 1st Virginia Infantry Regiment spent time on or near the property of Endview Plantation. On April 10-11, 2010 come see living historians portraying soldiers of the 1st Virginia Infantry Regiment. Camp life, drill, and other scenarios will be depicted each day. Saturday 10-4, Sunday 1-3.
